My New Song - Troubles

               Hello everyone! So yesterday I decided to go outside to my favorite spot at my house and write a new song. I do my best thinking out there so I think this song turned out pretty well. 

            It's about just being happy and letting go of your small problems because there are people out there that have it way worse than you. My inspiration was the night before, I was really upset because of my siblings being rude to me. I now realize that I was being really silly and I needed to get over it. The song has an upbeat melody and I'm really proud of it! It kind of tells the story of letting go of your troubles and I really like that about it. I'm still working on getting the piano keys together. An a cappella video will be going up soon on my YouTube Channel of me singing the song but for now you guys get to see the lyrics! I'm really proud of the song so, I hope you guys like it as much as I do!

An Introduction To Me

       Hi there! I'm Maggie and I love to sing. There wasn't really a time when I first started singing. I've been exposed to music my entire life.  I really got into sharing my talent when I was 11. That's when I started my YouTube channel. I thought that I would be like Justin Bieber and a random music producer would do everything in their power to make me a star. Now that I look back on it I laugh at how foolish I sounded.  

        Over the 2 year period of having my YouTube I have learned how to please the audience and  know what gets the most views. My audience has grown since then but not by a lot. I'm still working on making my videos better. Usually I do random videos. maybe some of them are of me just talking and then some of them are of me singing. All in all, I love making YouTube videos. 

         Now a little bit about my inspiration. I think my mom is probably my biggest inspiration. She sang too and she was very determined.  I've also been "following" Ariana Grande for a few years now and she's one step down from my mom. She is my inspiration for the kind of music I want to make. I love her style and the way she carries herself.  She is a very confident young girl who has made it a long way in just 3 years.  

          Now onto the present. I had been thinking about the X Factor since September 2012. I asked my parents if I could audition in December when they said I could. I then started taking voice lessons in January and have been taking them once a week since then. I auditioned in June online and waited and waited to hear back. I checked my mom's email probably every hour just waiting to hear back. I finally did and they told me to answer a bunch of questions for an online interview kind of thing. I started to get worried when I hadn't heard back. I finally got an email saying that I didn't make it to the next round and that was upsetting because I had been working so hard on the audition. I now think it's for the best. I have a lot of time ahead of me to pursue a carer in music.

          Long story short music is my passion and that's what I love doing. Stay posted for more updates on my music and how things are going!
